Reflection

Winemaker David Munksgard walks our vineyards most days in the early morning. That walk takes him around our beautiful pond that is home to visiting ducks, geese, and herons and mirrors one of our favorite vineyard sites. It’s a beautiful sight and inspired David to create a special, single vineyard block Sparkling from the Estate called Reflection.

Reflection Blanc de Blancs

Introducing our 2019 Reflection Blanc de Blancs, a sibling to last summer’s Reflection Brut. Sourced from the same vineyard block, which magically reflects in our reservoir, hence the name, this release is 100% Chardonnay and aged with extended time en tirage. So take a moment to “reflect” on life’s moments that add sparkle to every day.

Reflection Brut

The complexity of the blend is apparent immediately upon opening the bottle. Even before pouring the first glass, you get scents of peach, apricot, and toasted almonds. The flavors that follow are stone fruit and baked almond with crisp apple and brioche on the finish. Every sip reflects the beauty of Iron Horse and reminds us how lucky we are. Reflection Brut is 64% Pinot Noir and 36% Chardonnay. The Chardonnay was barrel fermented. The blend is 100% malolactic fermentation for creaminess and complexity.
