Happy New Year! We could not be more excited as we launch into 2026. This year brings a spectacular convergence for Iron Horse: our 50th Anniversary, the nation’s 250th, Iron Horse co-founder Audrey Sterling’s 95th birthday year, our winemaker David Munksgard’s 30th vintage at Iron Horse, and—as luck would have it—the Year of the Horse in the lunar zodiac.

We have a full calendar of celebrations and commemorative wines ahead, beginning with our limited-production Year of the Horse Vintage Blanc de Blancs.

This wine is a Brut Zero—completely dry. Exciting and elegant, it is beautifully driven, with lift and character, refined bubbles, and a bright, gorgeous energy that lengthens on the palate like unbridled optimism. It’s a fitting tribute for everyone born in a Horse year: 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, and now 2026. Quite simply, it’s written in the stars that you should celebrate the Year of the Horse with Iron Horse. Lunar New Year begins February 17.

Depending on your club tier and wine preferences, you may find one or more of the following new releases in this shipment: our 2021 Brut Rosé, a study in power and beauty; the 2023 Rued Clone Chardonnay, deliciously floral; and the 2023 Thomas Road Pinot Noir, one of the finest expressions of this gorgeous vintage.
